this causes
"make fate-list" to sometimes fail with
make: execvp: /bin/sh: Argument list too long
make: execvp: printf: Argument list too long
make: *** [tests/Makefile:314: fate-list] Error 127
when run from within scripts, i cannot reproduce it from the
command line directly and dont have a small testcase.
Do you want me to look into creating a testcase for this
or you already know where its coming from ?
