I just added -scodec copy and I know if there are subtitles it will try to add them. But I've had limited success as this often seems to fail, but there are a few that worked I think from .mp4 to .mp4. Question is what else can I do besides -scodec copy? I know the codecs are listed in help but I haven't found much info how to make this work? Thanks again,

You should provide samples so we can reproduce such issue. "often",
"seems" and uncomplete information are not easy to deal with.
