[FFmpeg-user] installation of new version of ffmpeg0.7.11 is accured error

hello all
i was using ffmpeg 0.6.1 witrh alembik on centos machine ..but now i want
to update ffmpeg's version with any higher version than 0.8.10 or higher
version to transcode video into .ogv /ogg format.
so once i have installed ffmpeg-0.8.10 but it was not working properly so
that i have uninstalled from add / remove software.
now i'm installing naother version it's generate this below error


yasm not found, use --disable-yasm for a crippled build

If you think configure made a mistake, make sure you are using the latest
version from Git.  If the latest version fails, report the problem to the
ffmpeg-user at ffmpeg.org mailing list or IRC #ffmpeg on irc.freenode.net.
Include the log file "config.log" produced by configure as this will help
solving the problem.



1st i want to know that , is ffmpeg-0.8.10 has been properly uninstalled
from the machine or not.
n give me guidence how to install another or same version again ...
