Please feel free to improve the documentation and either 
send a patch (made with git format-patch or at least 
git diff) to the developer mailing list or setup a git 
clone so the FFmpeg maintainer can pull your changes.

(I am sitting at Linuxtag and we are having a discussion 
here how you could improve the documentation as judging 
from this mailing list thread you really like to write 
stuff. Unfortunately, to the best of my knowledge, no 
developer will take a text file that you send and make a 
patch out of it. So if you don't know what git is and if 
you are not interested in learning it - imo it is 
difficult to learn - that I don't think there is an easy 
solution ;-( )
