The answer is not specific to any particular container.

The easiest way, in my opinion, is to write an ffmetadata file with
the information.
The syntax is described here:

https://ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg-all.html#Metadata

The example at the bottom of that section shows how to add the
information to the container.
