[MEncoder-users] mencoder and divx 5(thanks)

Thanks! it makes sense now. Unfortunately Sony's Vegas video products  do 
not support open source projects very well.  The software will not recognize 
ffdshow and Xvid as codecs and support for lame is 'buggy'.

Interesting enough the 2 pass encoding method worked great in the Sony 
software.
