[Mplayer-advusers] VP32 codec support?

Hi,

I found on slashdot in one of the posts that there is an open source codec 
called VP3 (from www.vp3.com). The license is a MPL with 2 minor 
modifications, and according to many people who uses it - it provides a far 
better compression/quality ratio then sorenson codec...

Can this codec be supported under mplayer please? You can get the codec 
source code from the web site (you'll need to register - it's free), but 
you'll need an MS enviroment to compile it..
