as -vo mga works, it cannot be card or mga_vid driver problem.
so the only thing left is color keying, in xmga.
btw it shouldnt be green, but purple instead.
maybe he has 15/16 bpp in X11 where it fails to detect correct bpp, so purple
becames green and the card expects purple colorkey.
