my biggest problem with it btw. is that it does not work as a quicktime
plugin.... he's not a codec... and he refuses to open anything that's 
not very-ms-formatted ;)


so the (now quite widespread) wmv3/mp3 anime avi files are still
unplayable on mac-osx :((

asked on the vlc list, was told that he is waiting for the VC1 standard 
to become final or what ;(
