heh. i'm talking about my workstation, not the mphq server.
my ws. is behind firewall, and i'm the only user with phisical access to
it (and no ssdh or other stuff open).

i think security at such single workstations doesn't matter, but
performance and stability does. of course, on an open server it's
different.

btw cvs accounts at mphq are very limited. only cvs server and passwd
command can be executed by users. unless it's an sshd bug, it's secure.
