Actually, I was watching TV with MPlayer on my old Trident 8900D card
(512Kb RAM.. Well that was the only card I had at home), and MPlayer couldn't
do it.

I used XFree 3 in 800x600x256, and MPlayer printed it doesn't support RGB
modes (no, no filters helped). The only solution I had was using -vo sdl

I wonder why was that happening.

P.s.: watching TV in 256 colours was fun, though not as much as 16 colors :))))
