he probably have broken/buggy/lame soundcard/driver which can't playback at
44100 but at 44188...

ao_oss sees that and initiates resampling filter

maybe we should allow small (<2%) threshold before we enable resampling...
for example on my work machine the lame ac97 plays at 44098 instead of
44100... no one can hear the difference but the resample filter kicks in :(
