yes, this is wht 'remove' is there.
but imho just removing the code doesn't solve the problems, just hide
them... i mean, in ffmpeg lavcdeint is the only way and if it's buggy it
needs to be fixed (even if you don't need it in mplayer).

also, it's strange as it works fine for me and for some people, while it is
buggy for others. my tip about MMX vs 3dnow failed, so what about gcc
version dependancy? :)
