Converting 480x480 SVCD to 640x480 ? I do it regularly, and I think it
happens pretty often. MEncoder is not DVDrip only ;)

I haven't made benchmarks, but imho everyone can afford the speed decrease
of -sws 2 ... Rather than some badly scaled divxes..

How about -zoom (or MPlayer) setting it to 0 (unless configfile or option
overrides it), and MEncoder has it 2 ?
