Everyone is obsessed about MPlayer G2. But what about our good old
companion, MPlayer G1? Well, not much. Honestly. If you have
ever listened to what we were saying you know that there are currently
	two G1 branches:

0_90 - which is the 0.90 version, plus critical bug
fixes. This is probably our most stable version at the
present, however it is also the most featureless. It doesn't
even include Sorenson 3. A new release from this particular
branch has already been scheduled since months, but it was
always delayed in the end. My opinion is: it doesn't even
 worth a release.

Currently the maintainers and release coordinators for this
branch are me, and Diego Biurrun (yo diego!;). Expect MPlayer
 0.91 to born from here.

main - the ordinary head development branch. Most
 features. Most unstable. Least A'rpi :) Definitely a must-use
branch. Don't use that shit 0_90. Ever. So. What I really
mean is that we don't have even the slightest idea about this
branch. No release timeframe (everyone just says ASAP, then
goes on holiday, and/or fucking teen girls), not even a
 common agreement on version numbering.

I think it is also us two who are coordinating the release of
this shit. Maybe it will be 0.99. Keep reading this
lame news in the following days to get informed.

So WTF should I do? - says the casual user. Heed my words:
go to a cinema with a girl.

(Devel team's note: we're looking for babes who are into
 "MPlayer development". Really. Mail us.)
