I tend to agree somewhat. Stock flac lib has massive bloat and idiotic
dependencies (libsndfile). If they can't release a clean simple
library, but instead a whole damn player misnamed as a library, then
it makes sense to import the small amount of useful code to mplayer
cvs rather than depending on their junk which probably has symbol
clashes at link time because of excessive globals (just a guess).
