I would very much appreciate that.  ATM, the included libfaad does not
compile under Cygwin (gcc problem), but the external one works fine.  Other
combinations of platform and compiler are also affected and it would be nice
to be able to use a newer or CVS version of libfaad once it is released.  If
I am not mistaken we support external libdvdread and libdvdcss etc, it
should be possible to do something similar for libfaad.
