ok, but then please fix it somehow to take the aspect from the end of 
the filter chain, not from the source video. this is totally confusing, 
yesterday I wanted to do some trivial recoding from 4:3 tv capture, with 
cropping to 16:9 and it took me two hours before I figured out what is 
going on.
