  I have no strong oppinion on this. I don't have a real problem
with making lavc mandatory as it is becoming more and more modular
anyway and one is/will be able to deactivate most things.

  Anyway I am already working on splitting some parts as i consider
it a good thing as it improves structure and it might be useful for
other projects.
