Easy, boy. If you were following the discussion closely you would have
noticed that there have been a flurry of gcc 4.0 related patches here
and on ffmpeg-devel. Guillaume simply is in compiler hell. Whether a
(clean) solution that works on all compiler versions exists is still
very much up in the air.
