Well, I'd hate to say it, but Rich explained to me what repeating info 
frames is good for (streaming), and now i must say I want them back.. (I 
kept thinking about chapters, which was way off)

The part I was missing is that the spec should say that info frames can 
only be repeated after themselves, and not in some random position in the 
stream.
