Uhm, can you back that up? My experiance here in europe, as in
asia is that there are far more people with the same first name
than with the same family name.

Ok, now you have to explain that. How come this is patriarchialism?

For me it's about half/half. Some people i know just by their
family name, even some close friends. I always get puzzled when
someone is refering to them by their first name.

Nope it had no order until Diego sorted the whole file.
Some names were family name first, some first name first.
Some ordered by first name, some by family name.

If you are so much against this ordering, why didn't you
speak up then?
