I don't think that this is a good phrasing... it seems more awkward than
the previous form, to me, and at least as much so as either of my own
suggestions. Off the top of my head I don't have any more alternatives,
unless we want to get so intrusive as to rephrase the sentence entirely
(i.e. of the general form "Unless you ... , do not <etc>" or similar).

Missing comma after the first "file".
