Good to hear on both counts, given that I'm prone to bouts of acute lack
of confidence at times.

For what it's worth, it sometimes puzzles me too. I'm good at
recognizing when something's wrong, and I can usually although not
always find at least one way to fix it, but I would often have a hard
time explaining exactly *why* something's wrong or why the "fix" is
right; usually, when I manage to figure out the answer, I improve my
knowledge of formal English grammar in the process. (It is a *highly*
esoteric subject, and getting more so all the time as the masses mangle
what is considered "accepted usage".)

If they ever produce one, please let me know. I'm sure I'll find dozens
of things wrong with it. <grin>
