If you had read the whole mail you would have seen that
it's vo_mga.c that fails to compile.

1. I don't have Matrox card.
2. I don't want mga to compile on my system.
3. The readme is in drivers directory and I've never tried to compile
anything there.
4.  I must not need to download 2.6 mga_vid sources in order to
compile normal mplayer. (normal -> configure without options).
