This commit does not revert commit r25994. Rather it changes back a
single accidentally committed line, leaving most of the changes from
r25994 intact. Try to pay a bit more attention to commit messages.

Something like "vo_xv.c: Fix broken line from r25994" would have been OK
(possibly with a longer explanation saying that it reverts a line that
was obviously committed accidentally in 25994).
