No.
A typo is a mistake - you'll note that it's actually short for
"typographical error". This sort of abbreviation is quite frequently
intentional. It cannot be validly considered a typo, or indeed an error,
in all cases.
In this case the usage of "inited" is probably derived from the
comparatively widespread, and possibly growing, use of "init" as a verb
with the same meaning as its longer form "initialize". You may not
consider the shorter form correct - it doesn't bother me personally,
though on philosophical principle I'd probably have to agree with you -
but it is not automatically a typo.
