That leaves me with two contradictory instructions, as Reimar told me to put
it in the root directory.

I agree that cluttering the root directory is not ideal, but I think that
having libvo export to the rest of the project functions that are completely
unrelated to vo is even worse. That is part of the point of moving
sub-related files in a dedicated directory.

As Reimer noted, I just copied the same header as the original file.
