Then say why. The cost is negligible, including a coarse code
review updating it is about 20 minutes.
The benefit to me is that I don't have to download and compile
it separately on each of my systems, which is already a net
time saver. This is without calculating in the current Gentoo
stable (and possibly others) issues and other issues users
may encounter (like the vastly outdated sourceforge version
that is still number 2 Google hit).
