[MPlayer-cygwin] Re: Latest cvs also fails dvd's, wants libdvdread ?

One thing I never did under cygwin was to get any codec packages; is cygwin
enough windows that the codec packages aren't needed (and don't work) or is
it enough unix that they are needed and to work?
