Well I've given this up some time ago for one simple reason -
I've not been able to find a source code for Windows where I could
actually see how to pass some parameters for DMO codecs to set
things like bitrate and so on. And unless we find someone
who would share such knowledge publicaly it would be pretty
hard to do that - I've seen some code - but it's been using
bunch of other M$ libs to set these parameters so actually there
was no chance to get to core structures used for WM codec control.

And unfortunaly I don't have time for doing such a massive debugging
on Windows to discover this mystery.

On the otherhand - adding technical support for encoding for DMO
object is rather simple thing.

So is there any Windows voluteer would would like to discover
how DMO object are being controled ?
(Ideally - write a piece of code for Windows which is directly
using DMO without tons of multimegabyte M$ libs and is able
to set at least some basic parameter for DMO objects) ?
