Hi,

I hacked together a subtitle implementation about a week ago to watch some
DVDs but i only joined the list a couple of days ago, maybe I can be of
assistance to who ever is in charge of the official implementation.

The master palette has already been read from the IFO and stored, it's in
the PGC data (d->cur_pgc->palette in libmpdemux/open.c is where I
grabbed it from). I'm sure there is a really good place to put a
sub-picture palette call but I just threw mine in there.

My understanding was that subpicture data included target alpha values as
well as the subpicture palette indices (SP_DCSQ entries 03 and 04).
