[Mplayer-dev-eng] processsor speciffic code

Hi all,

What about a package that builds itself while installing ?
mplayer compiles on a debian system (if all dependencies are met)
out of the box. I dont know a lot about the whole dpkg system
but afaik it should be possible.
This would prevent us from implementing cpu consuming
hacks to get processor specific code out of the way and
provide an optimized mplayer on every machine.
