Aeeh,
someone from debian just plonk'ed me because I said that mplayer is GPL.
be he has one point - there is directory opendivx which contains code
under OpenDivX license.
For inclusion in distributions this will of course be removed, but this
is a little inconsistent - saying that your code is GPL and then
distributing OpenDivX.
