[MPlayer-dev-eng] How about a feature to skip to black frame?

For those of us using MPlayer to watch recoreded television programs,
a feature to skip to the next "black" frame would be nice.  Should
help greatly to skipping commercials and getting right back to the
program without having to go back and forth different increments just
to start where the program started again.

I would find it most acceptable to have to hit a key 3 or 4 times to
skip past the commercials (assuming one key per commercial as there
are probably black frames between each of the commercials too) as long
as the last key I press lined me back up ready to go.

I just wish I had the experience with video capturing and frames and
color and all that neat stuff to do it.  Any takers?  :-)
