Oh, also, if you're interested in debconf i18n, I can help with that.
Let me know.  They have a po-debconf package (might be renamed soon)
which uses a specialized version of gettext/intltool.  For package
builders, they wouldn't need to worry about all that, just have a
recent version of debhelper to merge the translations into the
templates file as part of dh_installdebconf.
