Subject: [xine-devel] wmv9 and qt codec support for 1.0
hi folks,
mplayer has made a lot of progress on win32 codec use, namely support
for wmv9 and quicktime codecs.
i guess people will expect these features in xine 1.0.0 as well - so i
wonder if this could be done and who would be willing to help porting
these.
a friend of mine and i have already done some work on real codec support
and this is becoming usable (rtsp support is still missing for this to
become usefull, but at least pnm support is there), the question is:
anybody here who like to work on qt / wmv9 codec support? i guess wmv9
is mainly an issue of upgrading libw32codec so this might be easiest for
this who worked on that area recently.
not sure about quicktime - i'd be interested in this myself, but a
little help is always welcome - or maybe somebody has already started to
get that one working?
cheers,
guenter
