[MPlayer-dev-eng] how does mplayer determine total play length?

I did, and I now mplayer got seeking support for those file types.
I'm just wondering how I can determine the total play length in seconds

I wanna display it on the OSD, but can't find in demuxer.c or the other
files were it's stored
