maybe last cvs snapshot was taken before 12/11/2002 =) if you download by cvs 
last src you'll find it=)

this is a script to download latest cvs form xvid 

cvs -d:pserver:anonymous at cvs.xvid.org:/xvid login
cvs  -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous at cvs.xvid.org:/xvid co   -R -r dev-api-3 xvidcore
cvs  -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous at cvs.xvid.org:/xvid co -R -r dev-api-3 dshow
cvs  -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous at cvs.xvid.org:/xvid co -R -r dev-api-3 vfw

at login just press return 

i don't know anithing about xviudwrong.avi... what it's the problem?
