[MPlayer-dev-eng] Video freezes if i skip forward a lot

On certain videos -- it seems to consistently happen on the same videos and
not others -- if i use the mouse to skip forwards repeatedly the video will
eventually stop playing.
Mplayer doesn't crash, and the text output continues as if it's playing, but
the video just stops updating. Sometimes I can press pause and then resume to
get a new frame at the new time, but still no video.
I'm not sure if it's related, but sometimes when skipping forward, the video
playback freezes momentarily before resuming. I assumed that was waiting for a
full frame in the stream or something like that. But it seems to happen more
just before it freezes for real. When it freezes it really freezes, it doesn't
come back even if I wait for the rest of the input.
The output is below. I guess it froze at the point where it started printing
152/152 over and over. All I did was roll the mouse wheel up to skip forwards.
