One good reason would be that -framedrop and -autoq conflict.
Anyways, I prefer ocassional small desyncs (if there's no speech but for
example some action scene, it's not noticable). An interesting thing would
be to implement an option to -framedrop, like "-framedrop 2" which would
enable framedropping ONLY when A/V sync goes below/over 2 .
Oh, so that's not possible :)

Compiler Advisory: Several of our users have reported random crashes..with gcc
two-dot-nine-six...the problem was compiler related. Replacing the faulty
