ok the clip is called enya_et_mib_vp3.mov. It and vp31vfw.dll are in
/incoming.
I intended to rename it something more appropo but duh I don't have
permissions, so there it is. It uses QDesign audio which I guess MPlayer
can't support.
BTW are you guys familiar with the crossover product, which downloads
QT-win under wine? It actually works sorta (but really bad performance).
I had to make the same CR0 fix for them but now they can support VP3.
However it plays at like 10 fps on my 800mhz laptop -- but they can get
the QDesign audio. Just wondering if there's any way to work around the
Quicktime limitations for this audio codec. You may want to contact
QDesign, we know them well at On2 -- we've licensed their stuff before.
It's possible they could license you playback of QDMC, not sure what their
restrictions with Apple are. The guy to contact there is the founder/CTO,
