yes
but 
1. 3dnowex is not used with runtime cpu detection (imho its not worth the 
mess it would create ...)
2. downmix.c is SSE only at the moment, but it should be pretty easy to 
optimize in 3dnow it contains only simple functions like:

    for (i = 0; i < 256; i++)
	dest[i] += src[i] + bias;
