Hi,
I hacked together this little patch to add support for hardware subpic 
decoders (modifications added to dxr3). I added info to the tech docs on 
how it works. Flag 256 will turn this on as well, can't we change it to 
0xf? Using 256 is both stupid and dangerous. Maybe you'd want hardware 
timing but not osd, | 256 turns everything on. Anyway, didn't want to 
make too many changes so I left that issue unresolved for now.
