I don't like this idea, simply wait till arpi or someone else has applied 
your patch on ffmpeg cvs and then send a patch without the duplicated stuff.

libavcodec has also quite fast c dct, IMHO it would be better to drop jpeg 
dependancy completely as we no longer need it.
