also you should remove the libfame and lavc code from it and use 
the scheme as vo_mpegpes, it handles now only IMGFMT_MPEGPES.
The video filter layer does everything for you, look at -vf lavc and
-vf fame.

Second, you should fix multifile support. (Look at DOCS/tech/libvo.txt) for
the latest api requirements.
