I found a machine to test on for the next few days,
so don't worry about it at the moment.  I've managed to
get mplayer under cygwin to authenticate a disc, but that's
as far as it goes.  I'm still working on tracking down the
source of this problem:

Playing DVD title 1
libdvdcss debug: GetASF authenticated
libdvdcss debug: already authenticated
Reading disc structure, please wait...
libdvdread: Can't open file VIDEO_TS.IFO.
Can't open VMG info!

I'll submit fresh new patches as soon as they work.
