	Do you do the LFS thing (Linux From Scratch)? I find it useful to
have a Linux distribution worry about installing all the TeX document
processing stuff. I didn't install the TeX stuff on the first system on
which I wanted to do this document processing. I figured I'll just
download the latest stuff from the internet. I recall having to download
40-50MB of compressed material before getting anything to work.
