That's not all. Also the locale needs to be setup properly and since
gettext is still a bit, let's say, problematic it can be still a 
dayfilling job to get it work correctly. Also be prepared for some
really nasty segfaults depending on the locale (so better ask for
the language in which mplayer will cause troubles as well in
bugreports).
