hmm. if i seek, there is no delay any more, strange.
it seems that the filter dropped the first audio 'packet' it got, and as teh
first packet is big enough to fill the whole audio buffer (audio preload) it
causes 1-1.5s initial delay.

i'm sleepy now, will debug it deeper tomorrow.
